Bangaloreans Send Relief Material to Turkey-Syria Earthquake Victims
Bangalore: Due to the earthquake that occurred in Turkey and Syria, human lives are suffering from painful situations. In order to provide relief to the victims of the earthquake, a massive relief material is being sent by the people of Bangalore.
Arrangements have been made to send relief materials to Turkey and Syria through the respective embassies from Mr. Beyond Boundaries Foundation.
In this regard, Trustee Ibrahim of Beyond Boundaries Foundation said that he was facing difficulties in getting this relief material to Syria. However, their efforts are ongoing.
It should be remembered that due to several earthquakes in Turkey-Syria, thousands of lives were lost and countless people were injured and a large population affected by these earthquakes became homeless and helpless.
In these circumstances, on the one hand, relief materials and medicines were sent to Turkey and Syria from all over the world, India launched a friendly operation campaign and aided the victims.
In such circumstances, several social organizations of the capital city of Bangalore arranged to deliver relief materials to Turkey-Syria and on this occasion, Beyond Boundaries Foundation was formed and the relief materials are being delivered through the embassies of both countries.
It should be noted that the Minister of Interior of Turkey has revealed that the number of people who have died due to the earthquakes in Turkey this month has reached 43,556, while 600,000 apartments and 150,000 commercial premises have been damaged.
The first earthquake was big – it had a magnitude of 7.8, which is classified as “big” on the official magnitude scale. It ruptured about 100 km (62 mi) along the fault line, causing severe damage to buildings near the fault.
