The state budget and its schemes presented by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah this year are being appreciated in different quarters, that with this many facilities are being provided for the people.
In the Siddaramaiyah budget, about 2,000 crore rupees were allocated for the Minorities, which are to be spent on various schemes.
In this budget, 360 crore rupees have been allocated to develop the minority colonies. Raising objections over this allotment of the budget, All India Mahila Congress Secretary Chaman Farzana said that no doubt the budget is highly commendable, but it would have been better if this amount is spent on educational development of minorities by establishing higher and excellent educational institutions for minorities.
Chaman Farzana said, if the Government develops Slum Areas, the condition of inhabitants, including Muslims, Dalits and other poor classes too will improvise.
Chaman Farzana further said that in the same way, the budget of 54 crore rupees allocated for the construction of marriage palaces that Shaadi Mahals should be spent on educational upliftment works.
