She recalls her countless visits to hospitals with her ailing husband, but the destiny had different plans and her efforts were in vain. Salma herself survived a tragic accident which made her loose her memory for months, after which she revcovered. Bravely fighting all these challenges, Salma Banu has emerged as a strong, independent woman defying all odds.
Her message women facimg similar challenges is one of empowerment. She encourages them to discover their strength, to earn their living rather than relying on charity.

It wasn’t an easy journey
It was the effort of 14 long years of resilience and hardwork in setting up a small business that has helped the family to make their ends meet with much more ease now.
Naziya speaks to Karnataka her experience and how she played the role to bring up her family and navigate through the challenges that came her way
From opening way into the spice bussiness during her husband’s ill health and now assisting him in the business. Naziya is certainly the women behind the growth of the whole family and reason for their upliftment.
Syed Nawab explained us about his business and it’s growth. Syed now has a stable bussiness and works for about 10-12 hours a day.
We got to see his auto with all of his spices stacked up. The satisfaction of leading his own life by himself was very much evident in his experience he shared. And at the end Syed remains grateful to his well-wishers and thanks the almighty.
Their journey to be self sufficient and stand on their own feet wasn’t easy.
