Mannan Sait Vs Rahim Khan, the Ex-Minister for Youth Empowerment & Sports

Bidar: It is said that Youth are the Future of our Country, so when it is about youth, it takes a lot to cater to the objective in realizing the very purpose of empowering it educationally, economically and by all other means. But what we witness in Bidar that the so-called legislatures enjoying power for so many years at the behest of the votes garnered from the people, particularly the youth, have miserably failed to do anything for the upliftment of the youth.

The people of Bidar are well aware that Rahim Khan, the very MLA who has been representing the Constituency has never taken any initiative towards encouraging youth to take part in sports nor did the legislature made any attempts to bring any of the government schemes to Bidar to ensure participation of youth in sports.

It is highly unfortunate for Bidar is that the legislature Rahim Khan, has woefully failed to do anything, or rather literally nothing in the field of empowerment of youth & sports even though the MLA was a Cabinet Minister for Youth Empowerment & Sports in the erstwhile coalition government in Karnataka.

The people of Bidar in general and young champs in particular, had voted and brought Rahim Khan to power with an expectation of seeing a change in the city by means of education and Empowerment of youth and women but it is intensely deplorable that the legislature hasn’t taken any step towards sports despite being in the capacity of a Minister in the government.

At this juncture Bidar has witnessed a massive and high-spirited event of All India Tournament promoting Football among the youths here systematically organized by prominent socio-political activist Abdul Mannan Sait, is being seen as the beginning of a change in the city.

Apart from All India Football Tournament, it is learnt that another event of Body Building Competition is on the cards to be conducted soon by Abdul Mannan Sait has filled hearts of youths in the city with happiness.

If at such programs are organized for youth, believably it is not far that the citizens of Bidar will definitely witness an ocean of change in other domains as well.

Similarly, Bidar has been suffering from various critical issues and is anxious towards effective solutions. It may also be noted that activists and politicians like Abdul Mannan Sait could graciously bring about a change and find solutions to age old problems that the people are facing for years and the City could be put on to the path of development.
