JDS’s HD Kumaraswamy Reaches Almost 80 Constituencies During Pancharatna Yatra with Indomitable Spirit and Heading towards Mysore
Bangalore: The Janata Dal (Secular) has completed almost 80 days of its unparalleled ‘Pancharatna Yatra’ across the State. The Party’s Karnataka Chief and former Chief Minister HD Kumaraswamy led the Yatra travelled through about 80 Constituencies exposing the utter failures of the ruling dispensation BJP led by Basavaraj Bommai and instilling confidence among the masses that there will be a big change in the political arena ahead in the 2023 assembly polls.
HD Kumaraswamy has travelled through 80 assembly constituencies, distancing more than 8,000 Kilometres, crossing over 4,500 villages and meeting over 50 lakh people across the state.
During his March for Change Yatra, HD Kumaraswamy delivered various landmark statements on various burning issues of the state under the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party.
Speaking on the Mahadayi water dispute, Kumaraswamy alleged that both the BJP and Congress are delaying the issue for political purpose instead of finding Quick solutions. He questioned as why the BJP led Central Government delayed publishing the gazette notification after the judgement of Mahadayi dispute.
This is to be noted that the JD(S) actively wooing the minorities in the State with the party even appointing C.M. Ibrahim as the party president, and former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy consistently attacking the RSS in the last few months, particularly whenever the fringe elements associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevk Sangh (RSS) indulge in hate speeches or activities attacking minorites in the State.
As per the sources of JDS that the party has been actively wooing the Vokkaliga community and believes that the 108-ft Kempe Gowda statue, setting up of the Kempe Gowda Authority, reservation for Vokkaligas and a spike in real estate along the newly built Bengaluru-Mysuru highway that could all help swing Vokkaliga votes in their favour. Sources also claimed that Vokkaliga leaders in BJP have not shown keen interest in pushing forward the party prospects in the region.
Apart from Vokkaliga, the JDS is also making all possible efforts to reach out to Muslim community to win its confidence. Unlike, previous elections, the Muslim community is seen keen on chanting its sides towards electoral prospects taking the ‘Secular’ formulae towards voting the political parties to power. Several Islamic Scholars and intellectuals from the community are all set to accept the JD(S) too apart from Congress, it has seemingly believed the fact that constituencies wherein the JDS(S) is finishing in 2nd place actually deserves the Votes of Muslims to ensure it rises to the wining position and strike down the BJP.
The JD(S) Kumaraswamy is continuing his Yatra relentlessly with all his indomitable spirit meeting lakhs of people, assuring them of better education & health, ascertaining the youth with right employment and promising farmers a happier future.
The Pancharatna yatra would move to Channarayapatna on March 13, to Arsikere on March 14, to Holenarasipur on March 15, to Arakalgud on March 16 and to Sakleshpur on March 17. JD(S) Party MLA S.R. Mahesh has announced that a mega rally would be held in Mysore on 26 March 2023 wherein about 10 lakh people from across the State are expected to congregate on a 100-acre plot in Chamundeshwari constituency.
