Bangalore/Bidar: The historic city of Bidar, belonging to North Karnataka, is suffering from political problems. Now the assembly elections are near, in this regard E. T. V-Bharat spoke to Advocate Sarfaraz Hashmi, a well-known lawyer of Bidar city, about how he sees the political situation in Bidar and what Bidar thinks about the upcoming elections.
Advocate Sarfraz Hashmi said that since Bidar is a historical city, no significant development has been seen here since independence. Neither is the leadership raising its voice on the problems of the nation or nation. Therefore, despite having a minority leadership in the city, the people of Bidar have become politically orphaned.
Sarfraz Hashmi said that corruption is on the rise in the government offices of Bidar, no work of the public is done without bribery, even if it is politicians or government officials, all of them are sharing bribes. And the point of regret is that the local M. L. No intervention or action is taken by A.
Regarding the development work in Bidar, Sarfaraz Hashmi said that no commendable development work has been done in the city for the past many years, neither in the field of education nor in the establishment of industries that can provide employment to the youth. .
Sarfaraz said that the city is suffering from basic problems, water does not come in the government taps for many days, but he alleged that the government taps are closed on purpose so that the local M. L. A can deliver water through water tankers and convince the voters before election. He said that although a ban has been imposed on borewell digging in the city by the concerned department, a large number of borewells have been dug illegally due to the pressure of the local MLA.
Sarfraz Hashmi said that local M. L. O. Rahim Khan belongs to the Congress but his temperament is like that of the BJP, that he is seen with the Bharatiya Janata Party and he does not raise his voice on the issues of the nation or the people in the assembly or anywhere outside. was seen
Sarfraz Hashmi said that the people of Bidar city have a revolutionary mood, they give a chance to every new thing, because the people of Bidar are local M. L. She is very fed up with A, this time she intends to take a revolutionary decision to bring change from a political point of view.
It should be remembered that the late Zulfiqar Hashmi contested the 1994 elections in Bidar with the Bahujan Samaj Party and won, who is still fondly remembered by the people of Bidar for his services.
It is said that in 1994 Zulfikar Hashmi’s supporters, including Hindus, Dalits and Muslims, went door to door asking for ‘one note and one vote’. Many people not only voted for him but also donated for his election campaign.
