In a compelling call for empowerment and progress, renowned philanthropist from Bangalore, Husna Sharif, has taken a stand to uplift her community in Bangalore. In a recent interaction with media, she shed light on the issue of educational disparity within the Muslim population. She emphasized the need for Muslims to step forward on the path of education.
In the past, she recounts, women were often married off right after completing their SSLC, while their male counterparts were allowed to pursue further studies. However, a shift has occurred over time, and today, the percentage of educated Muslim women is greater than that of men.
Husna Sharif firmly believes that an educated mother can transform the destiny of an entire family, which in turn will elevates the graph of education of the community. To achieve this, she calls upon the more privileged members of the Muslim community to step forward and contribute towards empowering their fellow Muslims through education.
She urges parents to also impart religious education, ensuring a holistic development of the younger generation. Her vision goes beyond just a prosperous life on earth; she aspires for a brighter afterlife for all.
