Professor Sabiha Zubair is an eminent Urdu poet who is currently serving as the Vice Principal of Abbas Khan College and a social worker Associated with many prominent social organisations. In the past she has been associated as a Journalist with prominent organisations like BBC Urdu, ETV Urdu, Doordarshan and All India Radio. She was featured in the book “Rising Beyond The Cieling” which honours 100 successful Muslim Women achievers of Karnataka from various domains.
In an interview regarding the same she talked about her book and how it has honoured the achievers and how it is important for women of the community to take steps forward towards achieving their dreams. She gave examples of the women featured in the book and inspired the women to be fearless and work hard towards achieving their dreams
