Budget 2023 is disappointing for the public; More debt will make the people miserable, K Rehman Khan
Bangalore: Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman presented the last and complete budget of Narendra Modi’s second term before the parliamentary elections to be held next year, in which he emphasized on the development of youth, women, poor and villagers.
A total budget of 45.03 lakh crores has been presented for the next financial year, in which an effort has been made to provide relief to the middle class. Regarding the budget, Nirmala Sitharaman said that the economic agenda is to provide opportunities for development and improvement to the citizens, to develop the economy and create employment opportunities and to strengthen the Indian economy.
It should be noted that in the budget 2023, there has been talk of taking a loan of 18 lakh crore rupees. By going for this loan, the Indian government has crossed the figure of 100 lakh crore rupees.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi said about the Budget 2023 that it will fulfill the dreams of the people and the ambitions of all Indians. While former Union Minister K. Rehman Khan said that this budget will put more debt on the shoulders of the people.
K Rehman Khan said that the central budget is not welcoming to the people in any way, as there is no special provision in this budget for the welfare of the poor, middle class or people and to prevent the rising inflation day by day. No recipe has been taken out which will be very painful for the public.
In this regard, K Rehman Khan further said that the debt taken by the central government under the power of Modi has doubled and the impact of this debt burden will be directly on the pockets of the taxpayers.
Rehman Khan further said that during the Congress rule, the central government has been in total control for the last 70 years. There was a debt of 54.9 lakh crore rupees, while in the last 8 years under the power of Narendra Modi, this debt has doubled to 118 lakh crore rupees.
