Semillero International Pre-School took an initiative to teach their young students the needs and requirements of voiceless animals, “Water for Voiceless”.
Through a skit and an exhibition of freehand paintings, these children showed the importance of providing water, food, and shelter to the voiceless animals. The children say that water is essential to animals as much as it is essential to human beings.
By placing water-filled pots around the school premises, they extended their help to the voiceless animals. This activity shows the effect that even the smallest deeds can have in promoting awareness in society.
The principal of the school says that at Semillaro they believe that it is important to teach the children from a young age how to make co-existence of humans and other beings easy and convenient for the animals.
One of the parents of the students speaks how “water for Voiceless” will build in the young minds the feelings of empathy and compassion. With this unique activity, the school goes beyond the textbooks and nurtures values in the young minds that will shape them into better human beings.
